We’re Thrilled to Announce our 2019 Season!

 

This summer, for our 11th season, we are producing Butterflies are Free by Leonard Gershe, William Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure and Long Day’s Journey into Night by Eugene O’Neill. We will also be introducing a new Musical Cabaret series, performing three different sets drawing material from American musicals.

FREE FAMILY CLASSICS

Performances run in rotating repertory in Hall Auditorium and the Irene & Alan Wurtzel Theater, both located at 67 N. Main St, Oberlin, Ohio.

This summer, for our 11th season, we are producing Butterflies are Free by Leonard Gershe, William Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure and Long Day’s Journey into Night by Eugene O’Neill.

All performances are absolutely FREE to the public and geared toward the entire family, including school-aged children - ages 6 to 96! To accommodate families with younger members, evening performances begin at 7 PM. There are also 2 PM matinees on most Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, giving out-of-town patrons the opportunity to see two shows in the same day.

THE UNDERGROUND CABARET

This season we are introducing the Underground Cabaret, featuring vocal performances of songs from American musicals performed live to piano accompaniment. Three sets will be offered in rotating repertory in The Birenbaum jazz club in the lower level of the Hotel at Oberlin.

Directed by Chris Flaharty with Musical Direction by Alex Ngo.

Tickets cost $10 for adults, with $5 for ages 13 to 17, and children under 12 free.
